During a school visit in Poprad, Slovak PM Robert Fico sparked outrage when he claimed the EU is spending €140 billion “to prolong the war” in Ukraine.

He challenged the students: “If you’re such heroes … then go fight there.” Rather than listen, the high-schoolers drowned him out with jingling keys — a symbolic protest — and walked out of the hall with a Ukrainian flag.
