𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. But resistance is mounting.

An hour west of Copenhagen, in Knabstrup, the collective #Skovmagt are engaged in #DirectAction to protect the few forests that still remain in the country, most of which are subject to the capitalist logics of industrial logging production. The Orekrog forest is no exception, but now, on top of that, the forest is expected to be covered in cement.

The Skovmagt collective have built beautiful wooden structures up in the trees, from which they hope to resist the advance of Denmark's largest motorway project, connecting #Copenhagen to Kalundborg. The motorway is supported by Maersk: well-known supplier of the ongoing genocide in #Palestine - which hopes to use the Kalundborg port for faster shipping.
