Saw a post by someone about “well actually” replies and she pointed out you should understand the post and the context. Absolutely. No notes.
It was boosted by a man adding additional details and calling out the dudes with questions, one of which was “are you an expert on the topic.”
It was all positive, but I found it interesting that “is the dude an expert” was the question, rather than the more common issue I see, “are you making the assumption the other person (often woman) is NOT an expert.”
I just find it very interesting that even when commenting on how replies could be more thoughtful, the tendency is still to center the replying person replying while not assuming expertise of the non-replying person.
