Update - no injuries!

A huge snow cloud covered tourists in northern Italy

This happened at the ski resort of Courmayeur at the foot of Mont Blanc.

Although the situation looks quite frightening, none of the spectators were injured

This is not the avalanche itself, but a cloud of snow caused by it with a small percentage of snow mass. It does not pose a danger if, as in this case, you are on the opposite side of the slope from the avalanche.
