What's something that you're grateful to your younger self for?

I was thinking today how grateful I am that, despite growing up in an anti-intellectual environment, I was so drawn to art that despite others trying to dissuade me, I spent time studying it.

It's been one of the great richnesses of my life to heave learned about art.

I'm trying out #JoinIn because I'm genuinely curious about what other people might thank their younger selves for.
