My favorite time-related geek thing:

"Days since last timezone error: -1".

I like jokes, and I often smile, and sometimes laugh. This one made me snort beer all over myself the first time I saw it.

It's okay if you don't get it. It's not only a software geek thing, it's a software geek thing specific to people who've written apps where dates really matter and users live in different time zones.

(It's -1 because it should be 0, but is itself a timezone error.)
