I’ll just take this moment to point out that while Sunday is #StarWarsDay, it is also the 55th anniversary of the moment at Kent State when National Guardsmen opened fire using live ammunition on peacefully protesting students, killing four and wounding others.

For me, this is where things began the slide downward. When the Armed Forces shoot their fellow citizens, anything becomes possible, and there is no turning back.

Thus, we are here.

Protest safely, America.
