I just had to call my power company because reasons, and in the little automated hold thing, there was an announcement that said:

"We look forward to helping you though mutually respectful conversation (Emphasis added by me because the recording emphasized those words). Be aware that we will not tolerate any abusive language to our staff, and will disconnect the call in that event."

Holy shit why don't more call centers protect their people like this? I have too many friends working in call centers that deserve this sort of protection.
