Alberta moves to violate people's rights, using a loophole in the Canadian constitution...for the second time in a matter of weeks.

Danielle Smith says the courts should do better otherwise, "they're going to see more legislatures take the action that we did."

Also, she defends the move with a bizarre statement about "protecting kids rights to have babies." Seems like right wing pronatalism bunk - why is it okay for the state to be deciding for individuals that this is the most important thing?
