Others have drawn parallels between AI and photography: the invention of photography decimated the market for portrait painters but didn’t eliminate painting as a craft, pastime, or vocation.

Photography was invented 200 years ago.
The majority of paintings we all know were painted *after that*.

People ask me why, in an AI era, I devote my time to tools for crafting a site by hand.
People will still make sites by hand.
All the best tools for making sites by hand *have yet to be invented*.
