A little tip I've started doing when I feed my dog in the morning - I say OUT LOUD "Today is Wednesday morning and I fed the dog". It makes it much more likely I'll be able to remember I fed her when she comes around begging that she's starved and forgotten and alone and sad and the world is ending because she wants second breakfast.
