My mother is ninety years old. She is blind and completely immobile. She recently suffered a stroke and now urgently needs open-heart surgery. Her fragile body is covered in painful sores because we have no diapers. I watch her suffer and cry every day, and I am unable to ease her pain. My heart breaks, helpless, in the face of her suffering.
So I ask you gently, with no blame in my heart: Are the cases you choose to support more difficult than my mother’s? 💔
