It looks like a reformulated #chatcontrol with no practical changes has been agreed upon, and executioner of democracy Peter Hummelgaard is over the moon over the payoff he’ll receive from the tech providers down the line.

It hasn’t been voted on yet, but I’ve seen enough shady backroom legislation to recognise a done deal. This is the whimper of the end of liberty and the banging return of the authoritarian dark ages
