Okay, as much I want to explore the Phanpy client more, I really should sleep now.

(It looks like Phanpy doesn't support some newer emoji smileys like the sleepy face one or the shaking one...)

So, now with the Phanpy web app installed like an actual separate app I don't need to keep a browser tab open for it. This doesn't fix the issue with not being able to use certain emojis of the standard set, though.
