Less than 6 minutes. Mt. Spurr is one of about 6-15 that stand a good chance of erupting this year and possibly next year. There's at least 5-8 of those 6-15 that can produce a VEI 5-7 eruption like Mt. St. Helen's, Anak Krakatoa, Santorini and others. If we have enough VEI 5-6 eruptions, we're in for a world of shit. If you think inflation and food prices have been bad you haven't seen anything yet. It doesn't always have to be the VEI 7-8 eruptions and we're overdue for a few of them.
