Meltcats are a catlike species consisting of slime that, in our native bodies, can change its shape and texture from solid to liquid, it can grow different tissues like bones, muscles, skin, fur, brain or just stay slimy.

Meltcats can change at will, but not instantly (it takes some minutes, but with skill they can achieve faster shifting). The arrangement of tissue is basically unrestricted.

Meltcats don’t have a concept of difficult to change, imposed biological sex, and just grow the tits and genitals they like.

Meltcats can also physically merge and split apart.

Meltcats have a hedonistic, pleasure oriented society, that includes sex, play, cuddling, nerdery and more. They also do work, but don’t force everyone to work. They are generally cooperative with each other. Though there are different meltcat cultures (just like with humans), so take this with a grain of salt.

Meltcats physically specialize their bodies to their job, molding their soup into sentient machines.

Meltcats feed each other with their milk, deriving the energy ultimately from photosynthesis. They can also live off electricity. Though they also enjoy the pleasure of creative meals.
