Two big takeaways, here.

First, they are not investigating the people responsible for the abuses, but the person who exposed the abuses.

Second, the term "blood libel" has now lost what little impact it still had as they are using it to smear a person who was A. truthful, B. an Israeli Major-General, and C. Jewish.
