Since markets are embedded (not isolated) systems, the entire world should be seen as the operating environment of a market actor. The path to least resistance to profits has always included exploiting information well beyond those relevant to cost factors.

We don’t get to choose what information capitalists act on. Much like in infosec, one should not presuppose how resources will be used, even when proper rules are in place.
