The truce in Gaza has not actually begun since its signing, despite a reduced pace of shelling; the targeting, destruction, and sniping continue daily, with martyrs still falling. The international response, especially from the guarantors, is insufficient, as aid is not entering in the agreed-upon quantities. And with winter's arrival, deaths from cold, tents, and hunger are feared unless the guarantors act urgently and decisively, rather than settling for statements and condemnations.
