I'm not sure where it came from; certainly not from my DNA.

My two sons and three of my grandkids have a gift - they can see art in everyday things.

When my oldest son was in high school he won a statewide art contest. Unfortunately his life went a different direction and he has never developed his talent.

My other son & 3 grandkids take beautiful pictures, and the pictures are usually of ordinary things.

My granddaughter took the 1 below on her way to school yesterday.

This is a photo of the back of a school bus. It was taken just as the sun was rising. The bus is blocking the sun from the camera. In the photo the shape of the bus is seen clearly and it is large and boxy. Because the front and back wheels are aligned, there is the appearance that there are only two wheels instead of four. The sun is coming up in front of the bus so the bus's shadow is cast onto the roadway behind it. In the distance low mountains are just coming into view. The yellow glow from the sun appears almost like a halo surrounding the shape of the bus. The partially dark sky spreads away from the sun's yellow glow and the street to either side of the bus is beginning to look bright. On either side of the road is a tall street light that has already shut off in the early light of the dawn. The light poles appear shorter than the bus because they are in the distance.
