A minor Christmas miracle: I crocheted this chenille cat bed for Harmony (in an attempt to somewhat contain the torbie fur from spreading all over the new comforter) and she is actually using it! #caturday #CatsOfMastodon

A torbie cat curled up asleep tucked into the circle of a crocheted chenille cat bed in exactly matching colours to her fur.

I knew it was too good to be true! Cat bed malfunction, containment breached. #CatsOfMastodon

Her hind feet are splayed out fully extended, her front paws are bent at the wrist, and she appears to be actually lying on her face. If the photo could convey sound, she would probably be snoring. It looks less like a normal, comfortable cat sleeping position and more as if she was ejected from the bed while asleep, landed on her face, and never woke up.
