A magnitude 3.7 earthquake occurred 15 km north-west of Pongaroa, New Zealand on Tue Oct 28 2025 12:33 AM. The quake was 21 kilometres deep and the shaking was light close to the quake.

The quake may have been felt in Castlepoint, Dannevirke, Eketahuna, Feilding, Hunterville, Levin, Masterton, Palmerston North, Pongaroa, Porangahau, Waipukurau, and surrounding localities.
