Physicians for Human Rights Israel (PHRI) reported on Thursday that Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, detained by Israel for nine months without charge or judicial process, has suffered violence, severe weight loss of around 25 kilograms, and untreated health issues, including scabies and heart problems.

According to PHRI, he has not been brought before a judge, investigated, or informed of the reason for his arrest since March.
