U.S. President Donald Trump has appointed Israeli-American businessman Michael Eisenberg to lead the U.S. team within the international mechanism tasked with monitoring the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Eisenberg, known for his ideological alignment with Zionist thinker Theodor Herzl, was previously involved in founding the now-defunct Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which became a death trap that claimed the lives of thousands of starving aid seekers in the Gaza Strip during Israel’s war of hunger on the region.
