Gaza's Health Ministry reported that nearly 4,000 glaucoma patients in Gaza are at risk of losing their vision due to due to a lack of treatment options and a limited number of surgical procedures.

Damaged diagnostic and surgical equipment made operations more difficult and increased waiting times, while medication supplies for eye conditions remain critically low. The ministry called for urgently delivering essential diagnostic tools and specialized eye medicines.
