UN Human Rights Palestine reports that since the start of the genocide in Gaza, nearly 42,000 people in the war-ridden region have sustained life-changing injuries.

According to WHO estimates, one in four of these injuries is in children, making Gaza home to the largest cohort of child amputees in modern history.
