NEW | 3 in 4 Republicans Under 45 Say They Prefer US Fund Health Care Over Israel
A new poll by IMEU Policy Project, conducted by YouGov, reveals a sharp generational divide among Republicans over U.S. support for Israel amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Among Republicans under 45, 65% favor redirecting funds from Israel to domestic programs like healthcare, rising to 74% among younger voters. Many also back using taxpayer money for housing the unhoused and universal school meals.
The survey highlights growing discomfort with U.S. military aid to Israel: 53% oppose renewing the current $38 billion 10-year weapons deal, and 51% reject a proposed 20-year $76 billion agreement. Netanyahu’s popularity plummets among younger Republicans (+2) compared to older voters (+40), reflecting generational discontent.
