Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinian journalist Ashwaq Awad while detaining her from her family home north of Hebron, causing her arm to break as a result of being beaten inside a military vehicle following the home raid early in the morning.
According to her family, the soldiers raided the house and confined the family members to a single room, while Ashwaq underwent a body search by a female soldier before her phone was seized and she was transferred to a camp belonging to the Karmi Tzur settlement.
The 24-year-old journalist had previously been detained by the occupation last year, spending several months in prison before her release.
This incident comes amid a rise in Israeli violations against Palestinian journalists, including detentions and physical attacks.
