Breaking | Independent U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders told Al Jazeera that the abduction of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro constitutes an illegal and unconstitutional act, in clear violation of international law and state sovereignty.
Sanders added that he is seeking to pass a draft resolution in Congress to prevent any U.S. military or security operations in Venezuela without explicit congressional approval, stressing that unilateral actions only fuel instability and undermine international law.
