The Ministry of Interior and National Security in Gaza confirmed that an Israel-backed militia shot and assassinated 40-year-old Mahmoud Al-Astal, the Director of Police Investigations in Khan Younis, in Al-Mawasi area.

According to initial investigations, the gunfire came from a vehicle carrying several collaborators working in favor of Israel.
