Israel threatened to destroy 14 Palestinian homes and uproot 6,000 olive trees, each around 50 years old, across more than 80 dunums of land in Bayt Liqya town, west of Ramallah.
The justification given is that the land lies adjacent to the apartheid wall, but civilians face this threat amid ongoing harassment and repeated attacks by Israeli occupation forces, increasing pressure on families and farmers in the area.
