“I am not suicidal”
After being detained for four times just for standing with her people against occupation, Palestinian-British Dr. Rahmeh Aladwan says that UK authorities are increasingly acting in line with Israeli security interests, portraying Palestinian solidarity and dissent as a national security issue.
According to Aladwan, this framing effectively criminalizes activism and reflects a “captured state,” where Britain functions as an extension of Israel’s security apparatus.
Aladwan also recounts more than a year of rape threats, death threats, and doxxing, including the circulation of her private information and locations to millions online.
She says she contacted police only after these threats intensified, but instead of protection, she faced repeated harassment and arrest.
