Why the fuck is it that I cannot, for any amount of money, find an electric kettle that isn’t full of plastic?

Yes, I could just buy a simple kettle to go on the hob, but my hob is gas. I generate solar in the house. I want to be able to spare the world a little Co2.

But no. Even the kitchen aid ones (which are made in the US, so I’m not buying one) that are mostly metal have an interior coating of unknown material.
