三橋修『<コンチクショウ>考』が、すこし時代の下った近松の心中物などを取り上げて、心中の備える身分制を超える契機や、その契機が結果的にふたたび身分制の差別に落とし込まれていく過程などについて論を立てています。30年以上前の本なので現在でも通じる論かはわかりませんが。
