If you're making zines and books, and it's in the range of a few hundred copies or less, I can't recommend DIY enough. Each of our ink tank printers are about $250 each, ink refills are about $15 (and last soooo much longer than cartridges), and paper is $6-20 a packet depending on color and quality.

So each zine we make costs $1 or less in supplies (not counting buying the printer), and our 120ish page full size book is about $2.50 per copy.
