In moldable development, I build lots of tiny tools. Together, they help me grow my understanding of a system. Here (Visual Studio Code) we can clearly see that different people do different things in a project . Less than 30 lines of code in this case. Using a domain specific language for visualizations, with nodes, edges and layouts. And tiny is important, because that makes them fast to write and easy to understand.

Do you need more understanding of your system? Let me know if I can help.

GToolkit browser showing a large pane with a big nested polymetric view and to the right of that the code generating that view: Details:
The 50 people with the most commits are the 50 large rectangles,
nested within are rectangles for each commit with
width the number of lines of code that were changed,
height the number of chunks (group of changed lines) and
color based on warning signs about hashtag#chunks or hashtag#LoC
(green is fine, red might need attention)
