When I was at school and forced to do drama, we were told that when you're in the background of a scene you should just say 'rhubarb' over and over again because it looks like you're having a conversation. For years, every single time I've noticed a background actor having a silent conversation I've been looking to see if they're mouthing 'rhubarb' but have never once seen it.
