My instinct in situations of hatred and bigotry is to offer a path away from bigotry and show by example. And in a more healthy world, that would still be my perspective.
But it isn't now. When fascists and bigots already hold the power and seek to erase goodness, their ilk and anything that leads there cannot be tolerated.
