There will be periods of snow heavy at times this morning into the afternoon. Snowfall accumulations will be strictly rate driven since temperatures are above freezing. Meaning, light snow will struggle to accumulate but with any heavier rates, it will overcome the rate of melting and accumulate. This afternoon, we may see some rain mix in with the snow as temperatures slowly moderate into the mid and upper 30s.
During heavier rates of snow, it may accumulate on pavements briefly, making for difficult travel.
