WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Visibility as low as one half mile.

WHERE...Southern Alaska Peninsula, from King Cove west.

WHEN...From 4 AM to 11 AM AKDT Tuesday.

IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow starting early Tuesday morning picks up in intensity throughout the morning along with gusty easterly winds. Temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s are expected to climb into the mid 30s by late Tuesday morning, limiting blowing snow and allowing for a mix of rain and snow. Snow is expected to changeover to all rain around noon.
