WHAT...Snow expected. Storm total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 to 40 mph.
WHERE...Interior Kuskokwim Delta.
WHEN...Until 11 AM AKDT this morning.
IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Pockets of heavier snow could significantly reduce visibility.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and gusty winds will continue through mid to late morning. Temperatures will continue to warm into the middle 30s by mid-morning which will limit the blowing snow potential. However, higher snow rates will be maintained through the morning hours. Temperatures will eventually climb into the upper 30s by late this morning across the Kuskokwim Delta. Any lingering snow will likely mix with then change to all rain along the entire coast by the early afternoon hours.
