IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 149 PM AKDT, high water from rapid snowmelt over the past five days has caused rising water levels along the Kuparuk River, resulting in minor flooding near the river's mouth. - Floodwaters have been reported flowing over low-lying crossings on Spine Road, which remains closed to all traffic. - River levels are expected to crest within the next 24 to 48 hours, followed by a gradual decline through the end of the week.
