Definitely one of the strongest examples of the inauthenticity of corporate concern for social justice.

In 2015, Zuckerberg, then aged 31, wrote an open letter to his newborn daughter, promising
that within her lifetime he hoped to help "eliminate poverty and hunger"
, provide "basic
healthcare" to all and "build inclusive and welcoming communities". He and his wife, Priscilla
Chan, were pouring millions of dollars into social justice causes. Facebook's chief operating officer
Sandberg had published Lean In, a best-selling book that would come to define western corporate
feminism. She was a committed Democrat with deep connections to the party.
