I’ve spent an unreasonable amount of time today looking at the example pseudocode in the MQTT spec for how they implement variable byte integers. Intellectually, I know the odds of this are tiny, given how widely used the spec is, and then probably missing something, but I can’t convince myself that the pseudocode isn’t just wrong.
