@librewolf same question as fennec I guess? Do I move my devices over and then it adopts the new menu just three months later? The thing about LibreWolf and LibreWolf-likes is their focus is "privacy", which is not my goal insofar as I turn the "anti-fingerprinting" off immediately, I just want my browser to stop getting worse, which is orthogonal to "privacy". There is no reason a "privacy" browser would care if the menu is at the top or bottom of the screen.
@mcc I don't know, but yeah I want a "no bad UI changes" fork too. I can see their dev (https://infosec.exchange/@celenity) wanting less delta, which is maybe reasonable if the project's focus is on just privacy and filtering out new genAI nonsense: https://infosec.exchange/@celenity/115749357432559165
For what it's worth, both have the address bar on the bottom on my screen. It might even be the default in one of them. Memory hazy.
