Microsoft ends the support for Windows and wants you to buy a new computer. But what if you could make your current one fast and secure again, as well as keep on using it?

If you bought your computer after 2010, there's most likely no reason to throw it out. By just installing an up-to-date Linux operating system you can keep using it for years to come. Installing an operating system may sound difficult, but you don't have to do it alone. Join the Cloud Clinic Session and take control of your own hardware!

In response to the end of Windows 10 support on 25th October, the community around the Austrian media art initiative servus.at – Kunst und Kultur im Netz will collectively explore alternative operating systems for phones and laptops, as well as liberatory workflows that free us from corporate design and communication tools.

Poster with a cartoon-like drawing. On the left is a white building with graffitti, green vines and a red and white lighthouse above (recognizable as the Linz Stadtwerkstatt). On the right are 8 friendly Linux penguins at a table with laptops, one with a yellow beanie, another in a green hoody, one with a scarf. One is standing and waving. In the right lower corner the servus.at logo, in the left lower corner a QR code to register. Text in the post.
