well, it took *four weeks* to get it back, but framework replaced the motherboard in my laptop, but I've got a working laptop again :D and if they're gonna charge me for it, they haven't said so yet

they delivered it back fedex no signature required and the delivery guy yeeted it over the fence in front of my house. on the plus side their "repair partner" at least packed it well
