See to me this is the value of pride flags: they're an extra layer of visual symbolism you can put into a design if you want. I like them better as vague visual motifs than as sharply defined quasi-nationalistic standards.

I forgot how nice it is when winter hits and it's cold and dark and I get to enjoy the parks all by myself
