A ruin, now just a few wall segments and corners, made of rough red-brown adobe bricks, in the foreground among dry grass and scrub. In the mid-background, just above the ruin, is a finger mesa with sheer vertical sides almost the same color as the bricks (a little redder in spots). In the distance is a snowy mountain range and dark blue sky with low clouds over the mountain range.
