Pot sherds near Ojo Caliente. Probably somewhere in 1300-1600 AD range, but I don't know how to pin them down better than that.

Two ancient puebloan pot sherds held in a hand. They're maybe 2.5" wide by 1.5" tall and a little under 1/4" thick, made of light tan clay. They're both incised with patterns of lines: one has mostly parallel lines, 1/4" apart with an unlined band in the middle, and a couple of diagonal lines off in one corner. The other has lines at almost right angles, making a corner of a set of concentric (conrectangular) rectangles or squares.
